As well as designing mould tooling, we offer full product design and development services as well as other prototyping techniques.
We have worked on a large number of successful design projects, taking an initial concept through to the production supply of moulded parts or assemblies, ranging from single parts to suites of parts for both large corporations and private companies.
We operate several high end 3D CAD (computer aided design) packages and can accept data from all the major design platforms such as Catia, Solidworks, Ideas, Autocad, ProE, Step and Unigraphics. The most common file format we receive is IGS.

- Stereolithography (SLA) - uses lasers to build up a resin model for basic fit & form appraisal – a very quick option if only a few parts are needed.
- Mould flow analysis – computer simulation used to optimise the design of a part.
- FEA (Finite Element Analysis) – used to mathematically model and analyse a part.
The following prototyping links are also recommended:
- Vacuum Casting - a process that allows for fast accurate polyurethane resin casting of complex prototype parts in both rigid and flexible materials and in a wide range of colours
- Reaction Injection (RIM) Moulding - an alternative system to vacuum casting for larger components and short run production, with fast turn around times.
- Zinc centrifugal casting - uses SLA models for the master form in a silicone mould to make a zinc cast part
- Prototype Foam Components - fast and accurate polyurethane foam mouldings of complex prototypes, large or small.
